Welcome, Morello!

In spring, the Faymonville Group signed an agreement to acquire a majority stake in Morello, a globally active company headquartered in Turin in northern Italy. This strategic decision enables the Faymonville Group to expand its range of self-propelled solutions for intralogistics missions.

Morello is a globally recognized manufacturer of battery driven electric heavy load transport vehicles designed to move heavy industrial loads within the perimeters of industrial plants worldwide. Their electric vehicles transport heavy equipment or semi-finished goods, with payload capacities starting from 5 tons. „We are proud and grateful that our technology will become part of the strong offer of the family-owned Faymonville Group. With 80 years of market experience, the Morello name will be maintained and is looking forward to a promising future“, declares Amedeo Morello, representing the family, about this important step for the company.

Morello joins the Faymily

By acquiring Morello, the Faymonville Group expands its product range of self-propelled vehicles for lighter load classes, optionally equipped with AGV systems, particularly for intralogistics applications and industrial plants. Together with the existing Eco500 and Eco1000 series by Cometto, Morello vehicles now cover the complete spectrum of transport solutions in this field, serving industries such as railway, steel production, the energy sector, nuclear facilities, defence, and many more. The battery driven electric engines of the Morello vehicles integrates perfectly in the existing strategy responding to the increasing demand for emission-free and low-noise working.

Trust and vision

The Faymonville Group will integrate its extensive expertise in production processes into Morello’s existing structure. This synergy opens new horizons for the Luxembourg-based manufacturer and strengthens its position as a full-range supplier for special and heavy haulage vehicles. „This strategic acquisition significantly enhances our market position and reinforces our role as a comprehensive provider for specialized transport solutions“, states Alexander Fickers, CEO of the Faymonville Group. „The discussion with the Morello team were characterized by trust and shared visions. We are excited to welcome Morello as the newest member in our Faymily.“
